My new favourite soup and Sandwich place!Home made breads, soups and brilliantly constructed flavours. I’ll be eating here at least once every couple weeks. The lovely couple who manages the place have a warm welcoming feeling that I get from my own family.If you like BBQ; try the Louisiana Poor boy sandwich! You’ll want the large.

An oasis of sanity in our current times. Great food, happy offbeat humour from the proprietors in a relaxed atmosphere. More than reasonable prices. What do you want in a great place for a light meal.

Food is amazing, had an amazing experience. The owners are an amazing older couple that are so warm and welcoming. Homemade bread was amazing and so was the soups, 10/10 rating would go over and over again:)

The sandwiches are made from home made bread and are ok, but the content is rather lacking. I had a tuna sandwich and half of my sandwich was just bread, no tuna. The soup is a bit too salty; overall I think the prices a too high for what's on offer. I'm not planning to return.

Everyone giving this place a 5 really needs to raise their standards a bit. Very plain sandwiches you can easily make at home, and decent but heavily salted soups. Pretty Bang average. The place has a really eerie vibe to it, which is neither good/bad. The owners were interesting.

this place! I'm a regular customer. whay attracts me the most of this place is the owners, their kind attitude and obviously the quality of their meals! unfortunately, pictures arent allowed to be taken within the restaurant and I respect that. but overall it's awesome!!

A classic hole-in-the-wall soup and sandwich stop. A fantastic Croation couple running the joint. Liberal snowflakes be warned, you're not going to get your soft serve service from a hipster in a toque. Hard hitting personality from the man behind the counter. I love it. Almost always six got soups on. These places are a dying breed. Enjoy them before they are all gone.

Definitely lived up to the hype! This place is a hidden gem! the bread was fresh and out of this world! I didnt order the mushroom soup but had a taste and it was one of the best I've ever had.If you love soup and sandwiches and live nearby it's a must! I'll be back soon!

I absolutely adore this place. Its the perfect little soup and sandwich place. A hidden gem 💎 there is not a whole lot of seating and during busy hours its hard to eat in. However, anytime I have taken things to go they always travel well. Parking can also be a struggle but you can park on Marmont street and walk if need be. When eating in typically he will have a soft jazz radio station on. Not super bright lights.

I can't remember the last time I've been in a good ol'fashioned genuine home cooking family run restaurant. Serious. It's a sweet elderly couple from Croatia running it together, and everyone in the community knows that it's THE PLACE to be for lunch. The food, the service, the people, everything- it's a real restaurant, with real food, and real people. Something our generation just doesn't see anymore these days. I walked into this place by accident and I can't explain it. I loved every bit of it, and would recommend this place to anyone. You want a quick bite to eat for lunch? GO THERE. The place put a smile on my face today and that's why I'm writing this review. I hope it can do the same for you too.

Good food made without preservatives. They make their own bread. I had the mushroom soup and the club sandwich. I quite enjoyed both. Prices are reasonable, as well. I would definitely eat there again.

Fantastic little place run by a nice older couple. Fresh made soups, baked breads, bagels and sandwiches. I had the mushroom soup and a black Forest ham sub... Wow, very good, definitely recommend

Had the vegetable soup and BLT. Husband had the lentil soup and BLT. He said it was good too. Soup had lots of good sized chunks of veggies. Bread was thick slices and very good as well. Very tasty food! The place to go for good homemade soup and sandwiches!

A Wonderful couple own/operate this sandwich shop, and have mastered their craft and customer experience. The bread is the best around and unlike any other, worth the drive if you want a delicious sandwich.

Omg...I can't say enough good about this place. The soup and sandwiches are incredible! I highly recommend it to everyone, you won't be disappointed. The older fellow working there...I assume the owner...is so incredibly friendly, funny and honest. Having a conversation with him while he made our food was probably the highlight of this place. We took our food to go, but the ambiance was super cute. Go here...eat the food...enjoy!

Delicious great owners. Probably one of the best places to grab a sandwich in the tri-cities. I can't stress enough the Triple decker club house my favorite. I have not found it made better anywhere else with fresh ingredients. They always have a soups on hands.

100% LOVE THIS PLACE i actually crave thier soups ... top notch ... i usually just get the soup and a bun ... and that makes my day .. other times i grab a sammich and soup and i got for a picnic ... i swear on my mothers grave this soup is worth every penny... and the two working there are the CUTEST COUPLE EVER... litterally .. pic a soup .. any soup and give it a go .. so far ive tried them all and its still a tough decision..sometimes i get multiple small soups. . Cause the flavors and tje FEELING YOU GET EATING IT is waay above par .. 6 stars all day 6 starss not 5 SIX STARS

Absolutely hands-down the best sandwich place going! The service is definitely blunt, Soup Naziesque, in fact. I know some people have even complained in the past, but I don’t like those people and neither should you. When you get to the front of the line and you’re getting anxious because the owner is badgering you on account of the fact that you haven’t yet figured out your order, just say: “Large Louisiana Poor Boy” and you won’t be disappointed.

Wonderful family establishment with fresh made soups and sandwiches. The owners are very friendly and accommodating. Cozy atmosphere.

THE BEST 🍄 soup you'll EVER have!

Been here a couple of times now. It's the kind of place that I really want to like and support, but the food doesn't stand up for me. Every soup I've had has been extremely salty. I've only had one of their sandwiches, but it was also dry and salty to an extent that homemade bread didn't save it. I would come back if I was with someone who wanted to eat here, but wouldn't go out of my way to return.

I just called to see what kind of soup they provide and I was told they do not have time to talk and hung up on me. I called back giving them the benefit of the doubt as I wasn’t sure if I heard him correctly. A lady answered and when I asked again what kind of soup they have her response was “lady, I will not give you that information you can come in and see yourself” for that, I will NEVER go to this terrible customer service restaurant. If they speak like this over the phone how do they treat their customers!?

It was ok. Not that great. If you are a traveler make sure you walk with cash. At the time of purchase I couldn't use my card and they asked for cash. I had a tummy ache and their soup really helped me out. Hot soup works all the time. It wasn't overly salty. Needed more flavor, which is why I only gave them 3 stars. The commute was easy. My hotel was 8 mins away. Parking was not easy, the parking was limited and that too contributed to the 3 stars. Customer service was really good. Nice cashier.

First time going there. Not what I expected, but Better. This is no subway type place, but ALOT more cozy. Awesome soup and sandwich is all I can say of what I ordered. Staff was fun and very friendly. Looking forward to my next visit.

I finally decided to go to this place after walking past it for over ten years, and when I went to order I basically got roasted by the owner, then he offered to sell me the place. The mushroom soup and terryaki chicken sub were pretty good. Chairs were kinda small. The guy kept staring me down the whole time. Cute little cafe type place tho, can't tell if I like it or not

This place is amazing, when people say homemade it usually is similar to home made. This place is literally home made, it feels like you are in the kitchen with grandpa. The food is delicious. This is a gem you need to experience.

Possibly one of the best eateries in Coquitlam. The couple that runs this place are authentic and hilarious. Perfect place for a soup and a sandwich.
